Healing, Hope & Humor

Laughter is the best medicine. Every scientist and every doctor will confirm it. But, people tend to use it rarely. Especially when they find themselves trapped in jaws of some serious disease, like cancer. Usually, that brings depression and apathy along with it.

Comedian Dave Fitzgerald went through similar situation when he got cancer. During his first recovery, Dave Fitzgerald wished he’d had something funny & inspiring to watch. Since there was nothing quite like this, he decided he was the perfect person to design a program for survivors from a patient’s viewpoint.
Healing, Hope & Humor is a 40 minute video and it is a must-see program for anyone dealing with a life-threatening or debilitating illness.
Here is just a clip of Darren LaCroix's (a producer of film) and Dave Fitzgerald's survivor attitude.

Humor is a powerful healer!

Craig Ferguson speaks from the heart

Craig Ferguson is one of the best talk show hosts today. He is a host of a Late Late Night Show as a successor of charismatic Dave Letterman. His spontaneity and Scottish charm keeps millions of people by their TV screens watching his show every night.

At the beginning of every show, Craig has a small monologue in which he tells jokes. Pretty much like in every other talk show. But, this time Craig decided to do something else. He decided to talk about a time of his life when he was an alcoholic and how how he managed to get rid of addiction. And there is no joke about it.

This is a true inspirational and really interesting speech from the heart. I recommend it to everyone who fights with addiction.

Today, I've chosen one of his older videos; "How to be a no limit person". In this video, he explains how our way of thinking stops us from living happier and fulfilled life.

Louise Hay - You can heal your life

Most of literature regarding theme "Self-help" that you can find in bookstores today is pure junk. There are millions of books that claim that they can help you solve your health, financial and any other problems you may have. But, they rarely do.

Still, there is one book for which millions of people claim that it is the real deal. It is "You can heal your life" by Louise Hay.

Loise Hay is the writer that started this trend and she is one of the most famous motivational author today. In her book, she talks about how you can change your life by changing your thoughts about yourself and people around you. All you need to do is change negative thought with positive one because the only barrier that you have in your life in the one in your head.

If you don't believe this, read her biography first, and see how she cured herself from cancer or how she helped thousands to cope with HIV or AIDS with positive thoughts only.

Sounds weird, doesn't it?

Try it, read the book, I am sure you'll be astonished with this concept. I know I was.

Derek Redmond - When you don't give up, you cannot fail

One of the most inspiring moments in Olympic history...

Will Smith - words of wisdom

Mega popular Hollywood actors have never impressed me. I must admit, I have a lot of prejudice towards them. I watched many movies and TV shows featuring Will Smith and I have never considered him to be so spiritual. Maybe it is because of his funny rap songs and funny roles in comedy TV shows at the beginning of his carrier. This video reveals completely different Will...

Nick Vujicic - no arms, no legs, no worries...

"For years I have prayed to God for arms and legs because I belived that it is the only thing that will make me happy. Today, I'am happy, and I don't have arms or legs.I am happy because I have hope, faith, love and peace. You have arms and legs, are you happy? No, you are not because you crave for something that you don't have like I craved for arms and legs.

Find yourself in faith, God, peace, love and you will be truly happy like me. You always have a choice!"
